Raphinha had a historic season
As he entered the party, the result was evident on his face.
This was the reaction of someone who didn’t want to attend because he knew what was in store for him!
I don’t know what else Rafinha was supposed to do to win the Ballon d’Or, or at least be among the top three!
A player who contributed to 61 goals in 64 matchesThe Champions League’s top scorerWon 3 championshipsWon La Liga’s best player awardScored goals in major
and minor competitionsDecisive and influential with his team from the beginning of the season to the endDo you see that he’s not facing a Ballon d’Or?
Sir, give the award to Dembélé, it’s okayBut not even among the top three?
So fifth?
Rafinha had a historic season and was literally wronged by this fifth place!

The male instinct to smile when things go wrong
Rafinha made 56 contributions in 57 games last season. He deserves to have this season remembered and credited.
He won’t win it, but at least he should be second in line for his exceptional performance throughout the season. Not fifth!
Even his club president, Joan Laporta, publicly supported his compatriot Lamine Yamal, saying he was the undisputed best and urging the entire Catalan media to support him.
I’m not a Barcelona fan, but Rafinha didn’t deserve what happened to him at all, and it’s not much different from what happened to Vinicius.
The Brazilians, unfortunately, don’t have the media’s backing.
