Exactly a week ago, this guy lost 3-0 to Brentford, and then there was a lot of news that he would be sacked if he lost today’s match against Sunderland!
Not only that, but there were reports that his psychological state is below zero, and he’s become isolated, withdrawing from team gatherings, and no longer able to speak to anyone!
The amazing thing is that despite all of this, he played a great match against Sunderland, who hadn’t lost in four matches, and won 2-0 with the best performance possible!
I want you to imagine that Manchester United has scored only 9 goals out of 14 expected goals in the league, making them the team with the most expected goals scored.
This poor man doesn’t have to take the problem alone!

The team’s attacking ideas:
Sean Lammens, the new goalkeeper, started today.
He’s excellent at drawing pressure towards him and passing with both feet.

Mbummo drops in between the lines, acting as a fourth midfielder with De Ligt, Casemiro, and Bruno.
At that point, the opposing defender is forced to come out towards him.
There’s a rotation, then a vertical pass to Mbummo.
He’s excellent at playing with the back. He connects with De Ligt upon touch and then comes out to take up space.
Behind the defenders, he himself circulates with the ball, takes the defender behind him, and brings him out on the line in a 1vs1 situation, and Mount takes the depth under Cescu, who pushes the defense back to make way for Mount and Bruno.
