This is undoubtedly one of the darkest periods in Italian history

I honestly can’t believe the shocker that happened today in the Italy vs. Bosnia World Cup qualifier!

Can you believe Italy was up by a goal and everything was going perfectly fine until Bastoni completely lost it, committed a foul—as the last player on the field—and got sent off, forcing Italy to play the entire second half with 10 men and concede the equalizer!

Then we went to the penalty shootout, where the shocker happened:

Italy missed two penalties in the most ridiculous ways—not because of any major mistake—allowing Bosnia to pull off the biggest upset in the qualifiers and advance to the World Cup for only the second time in their history!

What’s happening with the Italian national team is truly absurd.

You know what I mean—this is the same Italy that won the World Cup four times and had legendary generations play in its jersey, yet it’s the same Italy that can’t seem to qualify for the World Cup for the next consecutive time. This is undoubtedly the worst era in Italian history!

In 2010, they were eliminated in the group stage; in 2014, they were eliminated in the group stage;

and in 2018, 2022, and 2026, they haven’t even qualified for the World Cup.

What’s happening can only be described as a scandal in the history of Italian soccer!
