The ball decided to support Amorim
There’s literally no coach more difficult to coach than Ruben Amorim in football today!
Amorim almost experienced one of the absurd scenarios he was witnessing in front of him during today’s match against Burnley.
The man covered his face with his hand and stared at the ground, losing hope and passion!
Imagine United leading twice and missing numerous chances inside the penalty area, and then Burnley equalize with exactly one minute remaining in the match!
United wins a penalty kick, and before it’s taken, Amorim closes his eyes, unable to see it because he can’t bear the scenario of missing the kick.
Imagine what it would have been like!
But football decided today to be fair to Amorim.

A few days ago, Ruben Amorim released a statement saying that sometimes he thinks about resigning,
and other times he thinks about staying for 10 years.
This is normal, as Manchester United’s current environment is very volatile.
Moments like the loss to fourth-tier Grimsby make you really want to quit.
Moments like today’s victory over Kayseri, announcing your first league victory,
are what give you hope that something good can happen that will keep you with the club for a long time.
Manchester United played a great match against Burnley and deserved their victory.
They deserved to recover from their Carabao Cup loss so they could calmly focus on the first difficult test of the season.
The derby is on September 14th.
