Ronaldo: An Inspiring Story in Soccer
On the occasion of Cristiano Ronaldo’s 41st birthday today, I really haven’t seen a more inspiring story in soccer than Ronaldo’s!
We are talking about a child who was not supposed to be born because his mother decided to abort him during her pregnancy because they were a poor family, his father was an alcoholic and absent from reality, and they had no money to spend on this child!
But God willed that this child be born and come into the world safely, so that he could reach the age of 12 and decide to leave his home on the island of Madeira, leave his studies, and travel alone to Lisbon because he dreamed of becoming a soccer player!
The child was shocked at the beginning of his dream because he was told that he was too small, and his teammates at Sporting made fun of him, but strangely, he was not affected by these words and decided to train at bedtime and kept telling them that he would be the best in the world!
However, the setbacks did not end there for this child because when he turned 15, he discovered that he had an irregular heartbeat and was going to have to give up soccer because of this problem.
But he was not affected by this either and underwent surgery that helped him fulfill his dream!
This kid turned 23, overcame all his setbacks, played for Manchester United, and became the best player in the world, just like he promised his teammates who had made fun of him.
Two years later, he played for Real Madrid and became the most expensive player in soccer history at €94 million!

Not only that, but he also became the all-time leading scorer in soccer, the all-time leading scorer for national teams, the all-time leading scorer in the Champions League, and the all-time leading scorer in the Euro Cup.
Not only that, but Madeira Airport was named after him, his story was studied in sociology at the University of British Columbia in Canada in 2015, and he finally became one of the richest people in the world!
Today, he is 41 years old and still has the same passion he had as a child.
After all his successes, he still wants to win the World Cup and score 1,000 goals so that the equation is complete and nothing is missing!
Cristiano Ronaldo, from the womb of suffering, heroes are born.
