This means that as long as Messi is on the pitch, you know you’re ahead by one goal over the opposing team!

What’s even more impressive is that Messi has scored 880 goals in his career, 769 of which were non-penalty goals, representing a percentage of 87.3%.

This means that almost all of his goals have come from open play, which he creates himself, as well as from chic fouls!
