Historical Justice for Graham Potter
Do you still remember Graham Potter, the coach who played such exciting soccer with Brighton in the English Premier League?
Well, Graham Potter is currently enjoying one of the happiest days of his life after three years of struggle. So, what’s the story?
The story is that three years ago, Chelsea signed Graham Potter after his success with Brighton, but unfortunately, Potter was fired after only six months because he couldn’t control his temper, his players were making fun of him, and he got into a lot of arguments with them!
What happened next was that Graham Potter went two full years without coaching until he took over West Ham exactly one year ago, staying with them for only nine months before being fired—only to be hired by the Swedish national team a month later!

The problem was that the Swedish national team
was at the bottom of its group in the World Cup qualifiers at the time and hadn’t won a single match in the qualifiers. Imagine that they set a condition for Graham Potter:
qualifying for the World Cup, and if he didn’t, he would be fired immediately!
The amazing part is that Graham Potter beat Ukraine in the playoff semifinals and also beat Poland today in the playoff final, qualifying Sweden for the World Cup.
From a coach who was fired just three years ago to a coach who will participate in the World Cup for the first time in his career—a historic turnaround for Graham Potter.
