Who would have thought that Messi would try to dominate soccer off the field as well?! The legend is turning a completely new page!

Lionel Messi doesn’t seem to want his soccer story to end just because he’s hanging up his cleats…

Instead of thinking about coaching, the Argentine star is turning his attention to club ownership and building sports projects, with the ambition of developing clubs in different countries.

So far, his name has been linked to five clubs:

Inter Miami

Messi is a co-owner of the American club, where he also celebrated championship victories as a player.

Leones de Rosario

His project in Argentina, where the club competes in the fourth division and is looking to make its way up to the third division.

Deportivo

The club he co-owns with Luis Suárez, which started in the fourth division and has successfully reached the third division.

Cornella

Another investment in Spain; the club currently competes in the fifth division with ambitions to move up.

Eldense

And the most recent and high-profile deal… Messi acquired all the shares in the Spanish club, which plays in the second division, with a project aiming to reach the top flight.

Messi has spent years building his legacy with goals and championships…

And now it seems he wants to build a new legacy through clubs and projects.

Some call it soccer…

But Messi has activated “Career Mode” in real life!

The legend’s story isn’t over… He’s just changed where he plays.
