Messi has officially signed a new contract with Inter Miami until December 2028.

That means he’ll still be playing football for another three years, until the age of 41!

But what’s truly upsetting is that Messi will be playing outside Europe for five years.

This is something I never imagined.

This guy, in half his prime, is playing comfortably in Europe and will still be a top player!

I keep imagining if Bartomeu hadn’t caused Barcelona financial problems and things would have continued as normal.

Messi would have stayed with Barcelona until now, and we’d have seen him play alongside Pedri on the same pitch.

Can you imagine the excitement?

But the only positive thing is that after signing this contract, Messi still has three more years on the pitch.
